Imagine this. You’re representing a country that is seeking a permanent place on the security council at the United Nations. You’ve flown half way around the world to make your very first speech here. It’s a big deal. You want to ensure your address to international delegates is as memorable as possible right? Well, a man named SM Krishna managed that…by reading the wrong speech. Somehow the Indian minister read the Portuguese foreign minister’s speech & didn’t realise they weren’t his own words until three minutes in. By that point he’d already given a warm welcome to Portuguese speaking members & discussed the role of the EU. When he finally realised his mistake he calmly put down the piece of paper, picked up the correct speech and started again #UnitedNations #UN #NewYork #NYC #Skyline #SeeYourCity #NYCGo @NYCGo @NYC #InstagramNYC @NewYorkCity #NYCInstantly #Shopping #Handbag #nycnightlife #nycphotographer #nycblogger #Paper #Paperart #Cityscape #Silhouette @newyork_instagram @newyork #thecreatorsclass #illgrammers #createcommune #photography #doyoutravel #artofvisuals #visualsoflife #travelawesome #architectureporn #newyorker #bigapple #USA @unitednations

The popularity of skiing is somewhat down to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He moved to the Alps in 1893 (the mountain air was prescribed to aid his wife’s health), and learnt to ski with the help of two local brothers. “You let yourself go,” he once wrote. “Getting as near to flying as any earthbound man can”. Doyle predicted that in the future hundreds of people would come to the Alps for “ski season”. He wasn’t wrong, the slopes here in Val D’Isere are buzzing with people from all around the world (including one British guy who keeps falling over….) @ClubMed @ClubMedValDIsere #ClubMed #ClubMedValDIsere #Ski #Skiing #Graffiti #Mountain #Mountains #Alps #France #Europe #Travel #Instatravel #Travelgram #Wanderlust #Sherlock #ArthurConanDoyle #Cloud #Spray #PassionPassport #Adventure #Silhouette #Paperart #Art #Instaart #Snow
